A Private Afternoon on the Guanacaste Coast
After boarding, your captain will provide a brief safety briefing before departing from Playa Flamingo.
Your route will be selected according to the wind, sea conditions, currents, and visibility. Mowana may sail north or south to reach a sheltered bay suited to the conditions that day.
Once anchored, your group can enjoy the experience at its own pace. Explore beneath the surface with the provided snorkeling equipment, try paddleboarding, swim in the Pacific, or simply relax aboard the trimaran.
When conditions allow, Mowana travels under sail, creating a peaceful experience with less engine noise and a genuine sense of freedom on the ocean.

Your captain will select the swimming location according to visibility, currents, and sea conditions. Marine animals live freely in their natural environment.
Tropical fish, rays, sea turtles, or dolphins may sometimes be encountered, but wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed.
Paddleboarding on the Pacific
A paddleboard is available for exploring the calm waters around the boat. You can also swim or stay aboard and enjoy the scenery.
Sunset Aboard Mowana
As evening approaches, Mowana leaves the bay and resumes sailing. Settle onto the trampolines, relax in the shaded areas, or get comfortable on the beanbags as the light changes over the Pacific.
Every sunset is different depending on the season and weather conditions. Our crew looks for the best available viewpoint while always keeping safety at sea the priority.

After the activities, our crew prepares a fresh Costa Rican barbecue right on board.

Your tour departs directly from Playa Flamingo Beach, in front of PLEAMAR restaurant.
We recommend arriving a few minutes before 1:30 PM to make boarding and departure easier.
Return time varies slightly depending on the time of year and sunset.
Transportation to Playa Flamingo is not included.
