The Mowana: A Unique Trimaran in Guanacaste
Mowana is a renovated Buccaneer 33 trimaran designed for small private groups. Its wide layout, spacious trampolines over the water, shaded areas and giant beanbags provide plenty of room to relax while sailing along the Guanacaste coast.
With a maximum of 12 guests, Mowana offers an intimate alternative to larger sailing boats and shared catamaran cruises. Captain Jean-Luc has been sailing these waters for more than 30 years and speaks French, English and Spanish.

Our Sailing Route from Playa Flamingo
All private sailing tours depart from Playa Flamingo Beach. Depending on sea and wind conditions, we sail north or south along the Guanacaste coast in search of beautiful bays and sheltered anchorages.
After boarding Mowana, your captain will provide a short safety briefing before setting sail. Depending on the tour and conditions, we stop at a secluded bay where you can snorkel, swim, paddleboard or simply relax on the boat.
Food and drinks are served on board while you enjoy the coastline and Pacific Ocean. The exact sailing route may vary depending on weather, sea conditions and the experience your group is looking for.
